Andy Downton
Hailing from Dorset, Andy Downton’s early career saw him working as a barman on cruise ships in Alaska before he moved to London and took on the role of Chef de Rang at The Savoy Grill in 2004.
Andy's professionalism and drive propelled him to Assistant Manager within two years and in 2006 he left to open up Theo Randall at the Intercontinental in Park Lane.
In 2008 he returned to Gordon Ramsay Holdings to become Restaurant
Director of
Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s. Andy’s welcoming manner and attention to detail have ensured
that the restaurant continues to be recognised for its superb service.
