Yishay Malkov
Yishay joined Gordon Ramsay’s team in 2003 after spending 4 years in New York
studying and working in the industry. He first joined Marcus Wareing’s Pétrus as a Sommelier and
then moved on to Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in Chelsea,
Boxwood Café,
The Savoy Grill and then
Pétrus in the Berkeley Hotel.
Then in September 2006 Yishay became Restaurant Manager for
Angela Hartnett at the Connaught. Yishay worked very closely with Angela Hartnett to
promote the Michelin starred restaurant.
Yishay has proven himself within many of the restaurants, assisting with openings and maintaining the highest standards throughout. In October 2007 Yishay was rewarded for his hard work by being appointed the Restaurant Director at Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's.
Yishay's experience as a Chef in the early stages of his career and his extensive resume as a Head Sommelier have provided him with a broad overview and valuable skills that he continues to use in every aspect of his job at Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's.
