At Gordon's you don't get lost

Article translated into English

Maze means a labyrinth or chaos, amazing or stunning. Gordon Ramsay`s Prague restaurant is more amazing than a maze. It works as a coordinated hockey team, a perfectly trained orchestra or a brilliant directed theatre performance with a professionalism as we well know from the English-American show business.

Inconspicuous ladies in a black trousers suit, Chinese style, welcome you at the reception desk and take you to the table. First of all the receptionist shifts aside the table for the ladies and after that they do the same on the men’s side.

You are sitting on a very simple black sofa with black wooden tables, between mirror columns that makes the lightening more intensive.

There are no table clothes, no candle sticks, no historic monuments as well not even imitations. Everything around you is made to be simple with the reason that you not be interrupted from your dining because the food is the star of the evening.

If you like to talk about the food and drinks, you have to come before 7 pm. The waiters will explain everything for you about the delicious courses.

They will even invite you into the kitchen where can you see how perfect the team works together. The chefs spend many hours in the kitchen, preparing each meal with a prestigious impression.

You will get informed how the best of the chefs have been chosen for their experiences and for their good knowledge in the English language (there are British people in charge of the kitchen).  The most of the staff are foreigners and their job is as a mission for them.

After five minutes talking with the service you stop to feel like a customer talking to a waiter but start to feel comfortable as a guest visiting old good friends who prepared a birthday dinner for you.

You just need to observe what is happening around you and you will see that they treat all guests in the same friendly way as they did with us.

I ordered a 7-course Classic menu, my wife 3-course menu and the waiter served together with each course one extra empty plate, so that we could share it with each other.

The great news about this place is the business lunches where maze Prague offers 3 courses with two choices for 600 CZK.

You are visiting the artists of the top of professionalism, watchful attention and refined ideas.

Their visitors are coming from the whole world to try to get great memories and experiences from the delicious meals and kind staff.
