History
Open since 1980, Foxtrot Oscar’s ambience and simple comfort food has attracted a stream of regular diners, and in 1998 when Gordon Ramsay opened his flagship restaurant, Gordon Ramsay at Royal Hospital Road, he like many others, fell for the restaurant’s charms. Gordon and his team of chefs became well known faces at Foxtrot Oscar and often dined at the restaurant after an evening’s service.
On taking over Foxtrot Oscar, Gordon Ramsay comments; “I am tremendously excited about Foxtrot Oscar. My aim is to take the restaurant back to its glory days; providing fantastic food in a friendly, unpretentious environment – the ultimate local bistro”.
The refurbishment of the building has built upon the cosy and simple nature of the
neighbourhood bistro. With a central colour scheme of cream and black the
refurbishment creates an interior that is modern yet comforting.
