Simone Zanoni
Simone arrived in London in 1996 unable to speak any English whatsoever. After six months Simone was equipped with enough English to secure the position of commis chef at Aubergine with Gordon Ramsay in 1997.
Simone remained at
Aubergine until 1998 when he moved with the rest of Gordon’s brigade to open the
eponymous
Restaurant Gordon Ramsay on Royal Hospital Road.
Moving to
Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s
as Sous Chef in 2002, Simone was an integral part of the team before becoming Senior Sous
Chef at the by this time three star
Restaurant Gordon Ramsay.
In August of 2003, Simone was promoted to the position of Head Chef where he remained until
moving to Versailles in the summer of 2007 in preparation for the opening of
Gordon Ramsay au Trianon.
