Rothschild Brut NV
The first collective Rothschild family project for 160 years. Chardonnay based, low dosage and an excellent aperitif style Champagne. Small production, “not-on-the-High-street”.

Los Vascos Sauvignon Blanc
From Lafite’s estate in Chile. An off-dry classic Chilean style Sauvignon Blanc with asparagus and sherbet notes. Crisp and refreshing throughout and on the finish.

Bodegas Escudo Chardonnay
Mouton’s estate in Chile. A fuller-bodied style that works well with food. Subtle notes of oak and tropical fruits yet dry, well-knit and a serious wine.

Amancaya Cabernet-Malbec (Bodegas Caro)
From Bodegas Caro in Argentina, an extremely classy wine with notes of red and black-berry. Good structure and very more-ish indeed.

Lafite’s flagship wine from this classy Argentinian estate. Lafite ship their grand-cuvee barrels to the estate for the wine’s maturation enabling the wine to mature and age and develop leaving elegant, Chateau Lafite-esq signature notes on the wine.

Arguably the finest wine from Chile today. A collaboration between Chateau Mouton Rothschild and Concha Y Torro. A powerful yet elegant full-bodied red wine that works equally well with red meat or dark chocolate.

The Rothschild family are arguably the most famous wine producing family in the world. Known throughout the world for their Bordeaux 1st Growth wines of Chateau Lafite Rothschild and Chateau Mouton Rothschild. It is less widely known that additionally the Rothschild families were the archetypal pioneers of the new world, championing the magnificent terroir of South America before any other “old world” establishments. With Chateau Lafite collaborating with Nicolas Catena in Argentina in 1988 and Chateau Mouton Rothschild establishing Escudo Rojo in Chile and simultaneously also creating Almaviva, a modern Icon.

Employing their centuries of learned experience, wine-making and viticultural knowhow, creating beautifully balanced, terroir driven elegant modern wines. Both Almaviva from Chile and Caro from Argentina (matured in Lafite barrels) represent the very best from the wonderful and unique South American wine expressions.  A reflection of modernity as well as a bastion for tradition, the Rothschild families continue to represent the very best in the wine world today.
