Live Acoustic Sessions

Tuesday nights are music nights at York & Albany with live acoustic sessions each and every Tuesday and our monthly live music event 'Play On', the York & Albany continues to bring that Friday feeling to the start of the week.

Every last Tuesday of the month, our resident soul singer Raff will be treating us to stripped back acoustic sessions. Raff has performed alongside the likes of Marlena Shaw, Lily Allen, Plan B and Ed Sheeran, in a number of the capital's top music venues so is one not to be missed.

Join us from 7pm to 10.30pm every last Tuesday of the month.

Enjoy two of our home baked pizzas for £15, available in the bar on Tuesday nights only.
Made in the wood burning oven, choices vary from from Salted Anchovy, Capers, Olives, Tomato and Mozzarella or Roasted Aubergine, Squash, Grilled Courgette, Tomato and Stilton sit alongside traditional favourites such as Tomato, Basil and Mozzarella. The tastiest accompaniment to music!

  • Tuesday 1 April - The Sean Pregnolato Band
    Cape Town musician Sean regularly pulls in the crowds around London with his blues band, The Kingly All Stars. They will be performing stripped back acoustic blues and reggae to spice up your Tuesday!

  • Tuesday 8 April – Alice Watts
    Following her debut album, Alice Watts is back on the live scene for the release of her EP, Do Not Awaken Love. With striking vocals reminiscent of Eva Cassidy and the gumption of PJ Harvey, Alice has developed a vibrant soul styled folk that will leave you inspired.

  • Tuesday 15 April – Jonny Winston
    Named after the legend, John (Winston) Lennon, imagine a bit of Al Green, a bit of Amy Winehouse and some RnB thrown in; his flair for beat boxing and pairing intense emotional vocal melodies over electronic music will leave you inspired. You’ll be stunned at this twenty something year olds ability!

  • Tuesday 22 April – Stacey Skeete & Kit Rice
    A double bill for you tonight! Stacey Skeete is a gifted singer/songwriter based in North West London. A graduate of the BRIT School she will blow you away with her beautiful voice and captivating lyrics.

    Kit embarked on a string of UK and European tours after also graduating from the BRIT School, playing the violin and singing with artist folk-pop songstress Leddra Chapman. Kit's catchy melodies and the energy of his performances soon got him noticed and he has supported acts such as Tom Jones, Ed Sheeran and Toploader. Not to be missed!

  • Tuesday 29 April – Johnny Lucas
    With influences ranging from 60s Beatles to 90s Brit Pop, Johnny’s relatable, feel-good music is certain to make you smile. Using multiple loop pedals and several different guitars his performance is a real crowd pleaser and we look forward to welcoming him back by popular demand!
