Our Team


Luca began his career in 1999 in a pizzeria near his birthplace of Udine’s County in Italy. He then moved to Germany at the age of 17 where he worked as a junior waiter for an Italian family run restaurant in Munich. After 2 years in Munich, he spent the next 5 years working for Oceana Cruises, giving him the opportunity to travel the world and develop his experience with hospitality. Luca moved to the UK at the age of 24 and joined the iconic French restaurant Le Pont de la Tour as Chef de Rang before being promoted to Assistant Manager. He joined the Gordon Ramsay Group in 2012 working at Bread Street Kitchen as Assistant Manager before being promoted to Restaurant Manager in June 2012. He then worked at Union Street Café from it's opening in September 2013 and is now General Manager at York & Albany.

Head Chef - Kim Woodward

Originally from Cheshire, Kim spent two years studying hotel and restaurant management. After being awarded an internship Kim went to America and spent 6 years training and working in top restaurants such as Top of The Rock, Missouri.

In 2007 Kim came to England and joined the Gordon Ramsay family as Junior Sous Chef, Boxwood. The following five years saw Kim move to Plane Food and then The Savoy Grill for the opening. In 2011 Kim's involvement with MasterChef, the professionals showcased her talent which took her all the way through to the semi-finals.

Now Kim works as Head Chef at York & Albany, where the food is all British and all seasonal. She is making use of ingredients that are quintessentially British, creating a modern twist on hearty British classics.

Kim also works alongside Gordon on various projects and demos, travelling to Sardinia for Gordon Ramsay at Fortevillage  and Gordon Ramsay at Castel Monastero in Tuscany.


Jeremy Evans was born and raised in Berkshire. After graduating from university, he became Bar Supervisor at the popular Chino Latino Restaurant and Bar and decided to pursue a career in bar management. Following this, he worked as Senior Bartender with the Intercontinental Hotel Group in Abu Dhabi, later moving to Dubai to work in the NEOS bar in The Address hotel.

After eighteen months, wanting to return to the UK, he moved to London as Senior Bartender at the Polo Bar in The Westbury hotel in Mayfair.Jeremy joined the Gordon Ramsay Group in 2012 following the opening of Bread Street Kitchen, working his way up to become Bar Supervisor. Jeremy is currently Bar Manager at the Group’s York & Albany in Camden and is responsible for menu design, team and operational management.
