Rising within the Gordon Ramsay Group from Junior Sous Chef to Head Chef in just two years, Brighton native Will Stanyer is a young chef with exceptional experience on both sides of the pass and has been promoted to Head Chef at York & Albany.
Will joined the Gordon Ramsay Group in 2013 as Junior Sous Chef at York & Albany, producing exceptional, seasonal British dishes with a modern twist and was quickly promoted to Sous Chef.
Prior to joining Gordon Ramsay Group, Will spent a number of years in the Brighton and Hove area in a number of establishments including Graze (Head Chef), Seven Dials (Sous Chef) and Hotel Du Vin (Senior Chef de Partie).
With more than ten years experience in the hospitality industry, Luca Beghin brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role as general manager of York & Albany.
Starting his career as a commis waiter in Trieste, Italy, Luca quickly moved upwards with roles taking him across Europe to Germany, the Marshall Islands and finally the UK where he continued to gain experience at some of London’s most popular restaurants. He made his way to Gordon Ramsay Group in 2012 where he provided support in management roles across the Gordon Ramsay Group both within the UK and internationally and helped open both Bread Street Kitchen and Union Street Café amongst others.
In his current position, Luca oversees day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar and hotel; welcoming customers both neighbourhood and from across the world, managing the front of house team, and ensuring the smooth running of a service befitting of the high standards held by the establishment.
