Master Classes
Our master classes allow our guests to experience hands-on guidance from Angela Hartnett to create seasonal and uncomplicated dishes before experiencing the pressures of a restaurant service. At the classes we welcome guests of all ability levels to assist to prepare the menu for the day.
The classes take place only on a Saturday and commence at 9.30am with refreshments before Angela Hartnett and her team brief you on the morning ahead and the three course menu which is created especially for your class based on the day’s market produce. The Master class then takes you through the preparation of the lunch menu, demonstrated by Angela Hartnett. Following this demonstration, any invited lunch guests will join you ready for the lunch service. For lunch you will seated with a view to the main passé of the kitchen and the class attendees shall be invited in to the kitchen in small groups to cook and make the final preparations to the courses. Our sommelier is also on hand to present our wines, which have been selected to compliment the menu. Coffee and chocolates are served after dessert and a collection of the recipes presented to each guest to take away at 4.00pm as a memento of the day.
The cost for one master class attendee £250.00 per person. This includes refreshments on arrival, the full morning master class, a three course menu, wines paired to each course and Evian and Badoit throughout. The cost for a guest to join for the lunch is priced at £100.00 per person and if you would like to bring more than one guest, this is dependent on the availability.

Within Nonna’s at York & Albany, we also offer an exclusive Chef’s Dining Experience where Executive Chef, Angela Hartnett will create a bespoke tasting menu for your event. Guests will dine within the deli, with each course introduced and wines selected to compliment the courses.
